Mekong Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine: A Culinary Gem in Sandusky, OH

Holy Moly! Flavor heaven! Absolutely delicious food with a simple ambiance. Staff was incredibly gracious and helped us decide what to eat from the extensive menu. I had the noodle salad with chicken. It has vegetables on bottom, then layered with rice noodles, then chicken and these wonderful fried spring rolls, crushed peanuts and carrots were among some of the garnishes. Top it off with their deliciously light house sauce and its amazing! I couldn't stop eating it! I left feeling fulfilled, but with a feeling that I had made a decently healthy choice for a meal. We also ordered an assorted appetizer and seafood Pho. We're definitely coming back!!!

One of the best, if not THE BEST, Vietnamese restaurants in Northeast Ohio. Their pho and shaking beef is phenomenal along with other specialities on their menu. Special shout out to their staff and servers! We stop by a few times year and they remember us like it was just yesterday! Don’t hesitate to stop by Mekong if you’re ever in the area!

Enjoyed eating the beef pho and roasted pork and wonton soups. Reasonable prices for the delicious food. There were some inconsistencies between take out orders and dining in. My take-out did not have beef brisket while the beef pho I ordered for dine-in included it. Overall I still recommend the restaurant for the value flavor of the pho.

Very good ethnic option. The food is always delicious and fresh. Staff is friendly, efficient, and helpful. The restrooms could be cleaner. That is our only criticism. And they now have an extensive beer listing.

This is one of the best restaurants we've ever been to. I was surprised how quiet it was considering close proximity to Cedar Point. My kid and I got phos and fried rice. Everything was super delicious. Warning: large portions, easy to overeat. The food is so fresh and healthy. We are definitely coming back next year.

We decided to eat outside the restaurant and try Vietnamese food, amazing experience! No wait for a table, hostess and waiter were kind and attentive, food was delicious. We ordered the pork roll, vegetable rolls, fried chicken, and beef pho: everything was phenomenal! Anytime I travel to this area I’ll definitely stop by again.. I really loved it. Tried to take a pic but we ate majority of the food before I thought abt pictures lol

Mekong is a superb Vietnamese option and Sandusky is lucky to have it. Some really talented kitchen staff and terrific beer/whiskey list to match. My absolute favorites are the Chucky Rolls (Cha Gio inside Goi Cuan), the Chicken Wings, and Bahn Mi Sandwich for appetizers. The entrees, I am a fan of the Bo Luc Lac, the Cilantro Tomato Chicken, and the Pho. Go! But remember closed on Wednesday!

Food was delicious! I come here so much that the waitress already knew what I was going to get. I always get orange chicken or chicken soft egg noodles. (The most famous is orange chicken) me and my dad come here all the time. My dad always thinks about getting something new, but everything looks so good he just gets his favorite, bean pho. The service is amazing. And the theme is kinda a red Chinese dragon with some comfortable lighting.
